[Bali House] Uproot Andy – Fock Me Avontade feat MC Gringo & MC Nem
Brooklyn based Uproot Andy released a tropical 4/4 version of “Fock Me Avontade feat MC Gringo & MC Nem” on MAN RECORDINGS yesterday. He stays true to that Bali Funk style and incorporates some tasty house beats that enhances the rhythm creating a banger to get those butts shaking on the dance floor. Originally recorded in Rio De Janeiro in 2009 it has since then seen some great remixes. A personal favorite of mine is from those Bavarian Bass Hoodlums Schlachthofbronx. They’ve been a secret weapon of choice in my arsenal for some time. You can pick up the 4 track EP which includes the original Schlachthofbronx mix at ![Fock Me Avontade (féat. New Album Out Soon from Brazil’s Bali-Funksters Bonde Do Rolê
Diplo pretty much brought Brazil’s Bali Funk music to the world. Bali- Funk was a musical expression that emerged from inside the drug lord ruled Feval’s (ghetto’s) of Rio De Janeiro. Bond De Role coming from Curitiba Brazil was one of the first bands signed to Diplo’s infamous Maddecent Label and it’s been really way to long since we’ve heard from them. Their new album soon to be released on Maddecent is Tropicalbacanal, which will be produced by Diplo and Poolside themselves. Lucky for us there are a few tunes out that will let us know exactly what we should expect. Enjoy!
Batty Bass Records Presents:The Carry Nation – “This Bitch is Alive” feat Viva Ruiz
Peep in to the New York club scene with DJ Will Automagic & Nita Aviance’s new project The Carry Nation on Hannah Holland’s well-known Batty Bass Records. The tune is “This Bitch is Alive” feat Viva Ruiz on vocals and a fierce video filmed at Vandam in New York. The video had me viben hard off this tune and got me geared up and ready for some dance floor debauchery.

Bay Areas The M Machine release the highly anticipated EP “Metropolis, Pt. I”
The San Francisco Trio The M Machine are coloring outside the lines with “Metropolis, Pt. I” a début EP on Skrillex’s OWSLA label. The whole album is absolutely cool and on first listen a few tracks stand out for me from among the rest ”Face”, “Shadow in the Rose Garden”, and “A King Alone”. For me these track personify what I’m enjoying in Electro music now, great tunes that overlap different styles and refuse to be defined by just one genre. The M Machine are on the make raising the bar for other artist and pushing boundaries. Dance Floor, Chill Wave, IDM, and Dubstep the diversity, quality and execution of sound in this EP is astounding and something you rarely find in albums today let alone a first EP. You can buy “Metropolis, Pt. I” for $5.99 on Itunes as well as an older Single Release.
