Coming out of DC is up and coming producer Lindsay Lowend with his latest EP “Wind Fish”. Beware this is not just another Trap Ep there’s just way to much going on here to confine this to one style. It’s a perfect storm of Dream Pop, Vintage Synth, Glitch beats and some really mental R&B and Samples. His talent is creating unique Lo-Fi anthems that morph and camouflage beats and melodies into uncontrollable head bobbing eargasims. Just a good time from start to finish.
Released a few days ago you can stream the EP on his Soundcloud or just go pick it up at iTunes. Here’s a couple of favorites to give you a taste and if that’s not enough go check out the mix he did for Thump.vice.com

Here it is, a look at UK Bass/Future Garage Producer Last Japan’s newest EP “DARSK”. After warming up the bass machines and cranking up the volume I prepared myself for a listen to what Marco Giuliani been doing all locked away in his pod of magic and Bass synth.

Woozee aka John Seiles coming correct with “I Like Your Wiggle.” This is just a good solid funky House track that really put my Sunday in the right groove. Clean Bandit is a fresh-faced London Synth-Pop band that have gained a lot of momentum in the UK. Originally built around a string quartet, they’ve creatively woven together balanced portions of Classical strings, Hip-Hop and Electronica. It’s a difficult task taking elements like these and creating that perfect sound that works together well and doesn’t go overboard or sound cheesy, but they do it with so much style and soul that it’s impressive and they still leave room for vocals. Reminds me of old school Massive Attack just the epitome of cool. Their two vocalist Kandaka Moore & Nikki Marshall were found next door to their studio where a community singing and dancing group rehearsed. They asked them to lay down some vocals on a track and well it worked so well they stuck around. Their first EP “A&E” is being released on Black Butter Records Dec 9 you can Pre order it on iTunes Here. They’re on Facebook, Twitter and SoundCloud so show them some love.

Here it is the music video for ”Baby I Got that” from Bondax. The boys are breaking it down to the essentials here, a banging tune some pretty Girls and Water, simple fun to watch and I don’t have to spend allot of time deciphering some kind of coded message. Nice work!
Diplo pretty much brought Brazil’s Bali Funk music to the world. Bali- Funk was a musical expression that emerged from inside the drug lord ruled Feval’s (ghetto’s) of Rio De Janeiro. Bond De Role coming from Curitiba Brazil was one of the first bands signed to Diplo’s infamous Maddecent Label and it’s been really way to long since we’ve heard from them. Their new album soon to be released on Maddecent is Tropicalbacanal, which will be produced by Diplo and Poolside themselves. Lucky for us there are a few tunes out that will let us know exactly what we should expect. Enjoy!
Loving this new track from Morocco Plus and I have to thank Eric Berglund for sending it to us. Now being on this side of the ocean the name Eric Berglund may not be familiar as it should be. You might know him from his solo project CEO and his massive cover he did of Beyoncé’s Halo. Or, if you’re really paying attention, one of my personal favorites The Tough Alliance a Swedish Electro Pop group he formed with his childhood friend Henning Fürst. A group that is extremely underrated here in the US.
Here is what we know about Morocco Plus they are Ben James & Oisin Haze from Cork, Ireland. The track ”Scurvy” is a free download featuring a great electro melody blended with heavy guitar riffs giving it a gritty noise pop feel. Downloaded it, love it and go support some great underground music. Look for them on Band Camp & Soundcloud.

Peep in to the New York club scene with DJ Will Automagic & Nita Aviance’s new project The Carry Nation on Hannah Holland’s well-known Batty Bass Records. The tune is “This Bitch is Alive” feat Viva Ruiz on vocals and a fierce video filmed at Vandam in New York. The video had me viben hard off this tune and got me geared up and ready for some dance floor debauchery.

The San Francisco Trio The M Machine are coloring outside the lines with “Metropolis, Pt. I” a début EP on Skrillex’s OWSLA label. The whole album is absolutely cool and on first listen a few tracks stand out for me from among the rest ”Face”, “Shadow in the Rose Garden”, and “A King Alone”. For me these track personify what I’m enjoying in Electro music now, great tunes that overlap different styles and refuse to be defined by just one genre. The M Machine are on the make raising the bar for other artist and pushing boundaries. Dance Floor, Chill Wave, IDM, and Dubstep the diversity, quality and execution of sound in this EP is astounding and something you rarely find in albums today let alone a first EP. You can buy “Metropolis, Pt. I” for $5.99 on Itunes as well as an older Single Release.
