Indian Summer’s dance floor ready remix of Listen to Soul, Listen to Blues is a glitched out piece of EDM that just pulls at the heart and oozes tons of soul. The original single came out this summer and brought a lot of deserved attention to Australia’s Safia but when a duo like Indian Summer puts their touch on it, they’re guaranteed to get some love on the dance floor. Pick up the original on Itunes and download the Indian summer remix free just by liking their Facebook page.
In case you havn’t heard the original. It’s worth several listens.
Crossing Red Lines finds themselves once again moving further away from their rock Influences with their latest single “Wake Up”. Definitely in the vein of early punk and reggae their clean guitars and crunchy sound puts them somewhere between G Love and Sublime. It’s a great tune with deep melodic hooks, rock roots flavor and a nice Aussie touch.
Crossing Red Lines formed back in 2010 at a beach café in Moroubra Australia. Their début EP “Young and Free” released back in 2011 with an extremely positive reception. Since then they’ve played in some of the best venues in Australia and their newest single “Wake Up” made it to the top ten charts of a very popular Australian music site JJJ.
Wake Up’ by CROSSING RED LINES is out 12 May through The A&R Department.

Tame Impala is back with a new track “Elephant” from their forth coming album “Lonierism”. This is modern psychedelia with its roots firmly planted in the 70′s Garage and Glam scene. I dig this tune because I love the era and 70′s Garage and Glam was the real sound of rock as far as I’m concerned. With rock music finding its way on the same path as Jazz. I don’t mind the bands that bring back the best parts of this genre. They have some real nostalgia going on here its honest and they make their own. The album isn’t due out until October 8th but this will give you a little taste of what’s to come. Pre-order their album here.

“Follow the Sun” is the single that was released back in January from the Musician/Activist/Surfer, Xavier Rudd. Like all of his songs it’s written and sung with compassion that urges us to celebrate life. It’s the kind of song that’s going to have you in your car and heading to the nearest sandy shore for a little piece of your own bliss. Like the track itself the recently released “Follow the Sun” video invokes a sense of playful carefree bliss and beautifully captures the culture and environment of Stradbroke Island in Queensland Australia.
Xavier Rudd helps reminds us that the daily grind of everyday life is choice we make and not a binding condition.
Right now the tune can only be bought in Australia at Itunes.
“When you feel life coming down on you like a heavy weight
When you feel this crazy society adding to the strain
Take a stroll to the nearest water’s edge, remember your place
Many moons have risen and fallen long, long before you came
So which way is the wind blowing
What does your heart say”
