Parisian duo Paradis has turned out some serious warm and fuzzy disco lately. This 12″ released yesterday on Beats in Space Records is full of sensual moments and infectious melodies that draw you in and hold you in there warm in brace. The best thing you can do for your self this week is pick up this 12″.
The San Francisco Trio The M Machine are coloring outside the lines with “Metropolis, Pt. I” a début EP on Skrillex’s OWSLA label. The whole album is absolutely cool and on first listen a few tracks stand out for me from among the rest “Face”, “Shadow in the Rose Garden”, and “A King Alone”. For me these track personify what I’m enjoying in Electro music now, great tunes that overlap different styles and refuse to be defined by just one genre. The M Machine are on the make raising the bar for other artist and pushing boundaries. Dance Floor, Chill Wave, IDM, and Dubstep the diversity, quality and execution of sound in this EP is astounding and something you rarely find in albums today let alone a first EP. You can buy “Metropolis, Pt. I” for $5.99 on Itunes as well as an older Single Release.

The London School for Performing Arts & Technology has been synonymous with high quality musicians (Katy B, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Jessie J, Leona Lewis, Katie Melua, The Kooks, Imogen Heap, Kate Nash). Archy Marshall, also known as King Krule, is the latest incarnation that is gaining some notoriety. His mixture of Jazz Ballads and high production Post-Dubstep are seamless and infectious. His baritone crooning is reminiscent of Jonathan Richman. With only a self titled EP and a handful of remixes he’s getting a lot of attention. I don’t know what they’re putting in the school lunches over there but I want some.

Just found Evolutionista on Soundcloud.com and I have to say I’m really impressed. His mix’s represent some of the best quality tunes I have heard in awhile. He’s really pushing the limits of sound here and that’s the kind of stuff we flock to. His Bassed-out chilled vibes are perfect for a morning sunrise or just getting lost for a bit. Check out the two sets and original tracks below and take advantage of the free downloads he’s provided. Then head over to his site and show the man some love for being a true original.
